Support Jeff Welborn
A very important election is upon us, namely the open District # 3 Public Service Commissioner position. I am enthusiastically voting for Jeff Welborn and I think you should, too. Here’s why.
The PSC needs a strong independent voice that listens primarily to the people’s voices rather than the power brokers when determining affordable and reliable utility rates. As consumers, we need someone who stands with us, and I believe that Jeff Welborn is just that person.
As a legislator representing southwestern Montana, both in the House of Representatives and the Senate, Jeff actively sought out input on important legislation from his constituents. He held important committee positions which also gave him the knowledge and negotiating skills to judge the weighty decisions that will come before the PSC.
And importantly, I trust he will put the interest of our rural and ag-based communities in the forefront. Affordable utility rates are vital for our growing families, growing retiree sectors and small businesses.
We need Jeff Welborn as our voice on the Public Service Commission.
