What happens when a young boy plants wonder beans in his own backyard? For Jack, it is the beginning of a great adventure. Audiences are invited to come along this Saturday, May 18 when the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and more than 20 local students present JACK AND THE BEANSTALK.

The local cast features Kay Crusch as Jack, Ava Boaz as Mother, Harper June Hazlett as Milky White and the Magic Harp, Sydney Bucanan as Jill and Clayton Rice as the legendary Giant. Adding a unique twist to the story will be an unusual mix of characters including Madelyne Truesdell and Ayden Thompson as the Farmers, Karter Schmaus, Ethan Faas and Caleb Crusch as the Merchants and Sevigne Flynn, Katey Crusch, Holly Sue Hazlett, Ella Swensen, Ruby Aguirre and Alexandria Bucannon as the Circus Performers. Phoenix Aguirre, Reyna McNamer and River Spurlock will appear as the Wonder Beans.

JACK AND THE BEANSTALK will be presented at 2 pm and 4 pm at The Lodge, 131 South Spruce Street. Tickets are $10 per person, 6-year-old audience members and younger are free. Tickets will be available at the door.
