Three Forks Area Ambulance (TFAA) April

Barbara Mutter

April ended with 26 emergency responses.

Six transports to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital (BDH) were aided by AMR paramedics due to needed pain management. TFAA EMTs did six more transports to BDH. TFAA did one standby at a structure fire to support the Three Forks Volunteer Fire Department. The rest of the calls were for refusals (six) of transport and unfortunately one DOA. Three calls were canceled prior to arrival on the scene. Three Forks EMTs stood by both days of the Junior High and High School Rodeo. One major injury and several minor injuries. We were glad to aid in medical support for these young athletes. TFAA EMTs participated in an Education Day at Three Forks Elementary School.

This past month the crew trained and reviewed triage protocols. This prepared us for the mock airline incident training.

Three Forks Ambulance EMTs and a TFAA Driver participated in the huge Multiple Casualty Incident Training at Gallatin Field on May 4, 2024.
