Townsend Resident and Passenger Die in Accident Near Clarkston

In a release from Montana Highway Patrol a Townsend man, age 27, and his passenger of Belgrade died in a car accident on Clarkston Road Saturday night April 27 at 6:20pm. According to the investigating officer the Chevy Tahoe was southbound, crossed the center line then went off the road and collided with a tree. The vehicle was engulfed in flames. Both occupants died at the scene. The names of the victims were not released pending investigation of the accident.
