Senior Night is always an exciting night for football players, volleyball players, basketball players, and wrestlers. However, the other sports have seemed to be left out. Maybe it is because of the awkwardness of the sports timings or maybe it is because of the simple fact that the sport already takes all day. Either way, these spring sports are finally getting put in the ring.

On Friday, April 19th, golfers from across the district gathered at the Old Baldy Golf Course to play 18 holes and compete against each other. It was extremely windy and cold for a golf game, but after much deliberation, we decided to go forth with the tournament. Before the tournament started, however, it was finally important to recognize the seniors, for the first time, in Old Baldy’s golf tournament.

This year, the golf team had three seniors. Peyton Toney, Alice Brummer, and Mikayla Kraft. Each of these players has been playing for all of their high school careers and has been on the varsity golf team for all four years of high school. For future years, Peyton Toney plans to continue playing golf at Montana State University - Billings and Alice has been considering playing golf for her college of choice, Montana Tech. Competitive golf is not in sight for Mikayla, but she plans to spend as much time as she can on the golf course.

These seniors have already been fighting hard to place in each tournament and gear up for the Divisional tournament in the upcoming weeks in early May. As these seniors round up their final year of high school golf the spirits are high and the pride of the Bulldog Blue is even more prominent.
