He was born an academic whizz. To anyone, this would sound completely unappealing. This would sound like the ultimate nerd who never had any friends. But in Townsend, MT, we play our cards a little differently. This so-called nerd is not only - arguably - the smartest in the 2024 class, but he is one of the most outgoing, kind, sympathetic, and fun people to be around. Caleb Lelacheur has been in the Townsend School System ever since he was a Kindergartner and his exciting personality has followed him to his senior year of high school as one of the popular students.

Caleb was born into an average middle-class family, but his upbringing was filled with so much care that it was worth so much more. His father is a geologist and his mother works for Warren Transport. His parents have constantly encouraged him to read new books and learn more things. For a specific example, his father chooses a book for him after every short period that Caleb spends time reading and overall furthering his knowledge. These books are usually filled with science or history and he has never withheld the knowledge from the 2024 class. He has used these books to show others what he has learned and fascinate others with the same fascination that was given to him.

Caleb has been involved in the National Honors Society, Youth Council, Student Council, Pep Band, ESports, Basketball, Speech and Drama, and additionally served as the manager for the Volleyball team. Within the Student Council, he was the class president for two years and organized much of what went on around the school. He also proudly exclaimed that he was an amazing bench player on the basketball team. His involvement in so many activities no matter what positions he held has grown his personality and maturity and never disappoints.

He has always excelled in the music realm. Though he is talented in multiple aspects of music, his favorite has been putting poems into songs. He plans to eventually become a musician and continue his love for music within his career. Caleb has currently been starting to get his music out into the public world. He currently has two albums on Spotify including Day One and IceBreaker. His music is completely different from what you would expect, however, there is talent within his music no matter what genre it is. To get additional knowledge to prepare him for this endeavor, Caleb plans to go to MSU to get a degree in Music Technology. Caleb will miss the people and the school staff within the Townsend Community, but going to Bozeman to learn about the technology that continuously fuels our music entertainment will be incredibly rewarding for him.

Caleb asked that we not publish a picture of him.
