Six Graders Rigo Delgado and Zandria Bancroft earned gold ribbons and a second round of judging at the State Science Fair in Missoula on April 6, according to advisor Anna Shearer in an email last week.

Twenty-one sixth, seventh and eighth-grade students from Townsend qualified for the State Science Fair with various science projects. They won their chance to attend the State Science Fair after careful judging by 43 judges who volunteered their time to judge 180 middle school student fair projects on March 6th at the high school auditorium gym.

Shearer congratulated all the hardworking middle school students and sent thanks to the 43 judges who gave their time to select the winners of the project competition.
