Townsend’s Fall Fest 2024 Planning Under Way

Yes, Fall Fest 2024 is still months away, but the Rotary Club of Townsend is in full planning mode! Event dates have been selected: October 4-6. Bands are being contracted. Vendors are applying for their spaces. Sponsors are being asked to sign up. And all the other details are being worked on.
As you might guess, it takes a LOT of volunteers and community support to pull off the event. Although the online volunteer signup list is not yet finalized, if you are even remotely interested in volunteering this year, send an email to TownsendRotary@gmail.com. When the volunteer signup is ready, we will send you an email so you can see the available time slots and select what works for you.
Fall Fest is the club’s single fundraiser for the year. Monies earned during the event are used to support the local community. Recent and future projects include: Help Fund New Heritage Park Playground Equipment; Help Fund Chamber’s New Digital Sign on Front Street; Help Fund New High School Baseball Program; Co-sponsor Youth Babysitter Classes; Sponsor Circus and Fund K-8 kids to go to Circus Free; Co-sponsor Bike Safety Rodeo; Sponsor Students to Rotary Youth Leadership Award Camp; Organize Slice of Summer Family Fun Events; Help With and Fund Various Rotary-sponsored Interact Club Activities; Award Three BHS Scholarships; Donations to Ag Appreciation Dinner, Broadwater Community Theater, Rodeo Club, and Food Pantry; Help Fund Swimming Pool Lifeguard Training, Support STOKE; and more. As a Rotary project sponsor, you help our club contribute to the community. You will receive yearlong recognition on our website as well as special advertising at Fall Fest.
