BCDC: Thank-you, Broadwater County

A big Thank You to all the residents of the county who took time to participate in the community review listening sessions held on Oct. 12 and town hall on the 13th. The information you contributed will be invaluable in helping to guide communities and residents of Broadwater County in the future. The last review was done in 2004 and was mainly for the city of Townsend. I think we all agree that many changes have occurred in the county since then. Once all the data is compiled from the listening sessions last week and from the survey that was sent out during the summer, it will be made public.
Three local residents also need to be thanked for helping to coordinate the community review: Allison Kosto, Vickie Rauser and John Hahn. I would also like to thank the facilitators: Rebecca Meyers, Lorie Higgins, Marci Miller, Becky Bey, Craig Erickson, Mackenzie Espeland, Katherine Anderson and Anne Pichette who came from communities in Montana and Idaho to help as well.
Lastly, a heartfelt THANK YOU to the Townsend United Methodists for the use of your facility for three consecutive days! Craig Vietz
