Angie Paulsen For Clerk And Recorder
 | Author: Angie Paulson Broadwater County Clerk and Recorder |
My friends and fellow residents of Broadwater County, I am asking for your support to continue to serve as your Clerk and Recorder. I am a fifth-generation Montanan, a homeowner in the county for 15 years, and proud to have served you since January when I was appointed upon the retirement of Doug Ellis.
My office retains public records pertaining to land and land ownership as well as birth and death records. Additionally, the Clerk and Recorder oversees the Elections Department. I am blessed with talented, hard-working staff and the citizens of Broadwater County are in good hands.
My earliest memories of Broadwater County are from when I was a little girl and would travel with my grandma and her mother to visit Lowilla Flynn, who is my great-grandmother's sister.
As many of you know, Willy Flynn taught at Broadwater Elementary. I used to visit Willy at her home near the school, where my daughter, Savannah, now attends and is a middle schooler. I will continue Willy's legacy of love and service toward this community.
I graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in Political Science and masters level courses in Public Administration and Public Policy. I also have a master's degree in Theology and doctorate courses in Theology.
My work history includes organization and records management in law and most recently at the Secretary of State's Office on the Executive team, and a deputy for Secretary Jacobsen. We worked hard for the state of Montana. My work history in law and the Secretary of State's office has proven to be highly relevant to the duties of Clerk and Recorder.
I've served in the church for approximately 20 years, and I worked alongside the military community, especially military spouses of active duty soldiers, while their soldiers were deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq. I coached my son's high school basketball team and am now helping with my daughter's basketball and softball teams in Townsend.
Thank you for your consideration and vote to continue as your Broadwater County Clerk and Recorder. I am committed to continuing to serve you honestly and faithfully.
