The criminal docket in Judge Christopher Abbott’s courtroom on Friday, March 22 is as follows:

Daniel Rowe had a Scheduling Conference. His appeals case came back from the Supreme Court, saying he should be re-tried. His Omnibus is due on May 25; Pre-Trial is set for July 26; with Jury Trial scheduled for August 19.

Jon Thompson had his Jury Trial vacated; the victim (his wife) has passed away from an unrelated illness.

Jeremiah Howe had his Pre-Trial Conference. His Jury Trial will commence on April 8.

Kyler Stewart had his Petition to Revoke continued until May 24.

Justin Henderson had his Pre-Trial Conference continued until March 29.

Ashley Collins had her Pre-Trial Conference continued until April 19.

Everett Mierow's new dates are set; in anticipation of a Change of Plea on a ‘global’ disposition. Pre-Trial is set for July 26; with the Jury Trial scheduled for August 19.

Margaret Austin had her Sentencing continued until May 24.

Paul Creason was scheduled for Sentencing; although he was not in the courtroom. An arrest warrant is issued. There stands a $15,000 bond.

Kale Murgel had his Sentencing continued until he could be in court. He will be sentenced on April 26.

Julie Humphries had a Sentencing on a charge of Guilty but mentally ill to two charges of criminal endangerment. She is Sentenced to Ct 1) Seven years DPHHS care, with four suspended. Ct 2) 10 years with five suspended to DPHHS care. There is a stay of Sentence execution of 90 days; in the hopes of her bed date at Galen/Warm Springs within that time period. She must check in to the County Attorney’s office or BCSO twice a month until further notice. She must abide by all conditions as amended by the court.
