The criminal docket in Judge Micheal McMahon’s courtroom on Friday, March 8 is as follows:

Samuel Cooper had an Initial Appearance and Arraignment, pleading Not Guilty to charges of 1) criminal possession of dangerous drugs, 2) criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, 3) theft of a vehicle,3) driving while license suspended, and 4) open container. Omnibus is due on May 3; Pre-Trial is set for August 2; with the Jury Trial scheduled on September 3. The Defendant is released on his own recognizance.

Dustin Redfox had an Initial Appearance and Arraignment, pleading Not Guilty to charges of 1) criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and 2) open container. Omnibus is due on May 3; Pre-Trial is set for August 2; with the Jury Trial scheduled on September 3. The Defendant is released on his own recognizance.

Paul Creason did not appear for Sentencing. It is continued until March 22.

Troy Sharrette has a Petition to Revoke, on charges of 1) criminal possession of dangerous drugs, with intent to deliver and 2) criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. The Evidentiary Hearing will be on April 12.

Ashley Lage has her Sentencing continued until April 12.

Samuel Cascadden has an Omnibus due on March 15.

Mark Black had a Change of Plea; to the charge of partner/family member assault, a misdemeanor. He stated that on February 20, he knowingly shoved D.T., causing a threat of injury. The victim gave an impact statement. The Defendant apologized for his actions. He is Sentenced to a year in Broadwater County Detention Center; all but two days suspended. He must pay a $100 fine and $817.69 restitution. He must have 40 hours of anger management, no contact with D.T., and must have a civil standby to get his property.

Sam Cascaddan appeared because he sold a trailer that wasn’t his. The judge said that it was a civil matter and that the original owner (his daughter) could file a claim in civil court.
