The criminal docket in Judge Christopher Abbott’s courtroom on Friday, February 23 is as follows:

Colleen Nickerson had her Petition to Revoke continued until April 26, 2024.

Steven Barnes is out of state and needs a psycho-sexual evaluation. He must appear on March 22 for a Status Hearing and to be heard on bond. He must also schedule his evaluation while he is in-state.

Joseph Johnson had an Initial Appearance on a Petition to Revoke a four-year deferred sentence. The allegations are that he was terminated from his programming because of meth and fentanyl use, and failure to remain employed. His Evidentiary Hearing will be on April 5. He is released on his own recognizance to his mother. He will not consume alcohol or drugs and will comply with all previous conditions.

Kyler Stewart had an Initial Appearance on a Petition to Revoke a second deferred sentence; offering a denial to alleged charges of failure to remain law-abiding, partner/family member assault. He had a positive test for alcohol. He is released on his own recognizance, but he must have 24/7 monitoring for alcohol/drugs and comply with prior conditions.

Richard Karp had an Initial Appearance on 1.) charges of 5+ DUI, open container and possession of marijuana. His Arraignment will be March 1. 2.) A Petition to Revoke, alleges that a firearm was found in his vehicle and also found alcohol. He will have an Admit/Deny Hearing on March 1, as well.

Jocelyn Roberts had an Omnibus memo signed. Pre-Trial will be held on July 26; with the Jury Trial scheduled for August 18, 2024.

Ian Blaylock had an Evidentiary Hearing, telling the Court that he completed treatment and that he has complied with Adult Probation and Parole. He Admits the allegations of 1) violating the employment condition; 2) failing to report to AP&P; 3) he moved without authorization and 4) that he ceased to report to Adult Probation & Parole. He is Sentenced to six months in the county jail; all suspended except for 10 days. He must serve his sentence in no less than 2 increments of 5 days, although he may serve 10 days in a row.
