Southwestern District Leadership Events:
Our LDE (Leadership Development Events) District FFA Competition was held in Townsend on January 26th, 2024. Broadwater FFA helped guide other teams to their contests, serve lunch, help out judges, etc. Additionally, Broadwater FFA members competed in the following contests:
Ag Sales- Kayla Kraft, Gavin Schmele, Ross MacDonald, Kaden Bruins
Creed Speaking- Jacey Brunette
Here are the final standings of our teams:
Ag Sales- Team Placing: 9th
Creed Speaking- Placing: 7th
Finally, a huge thank you to all of the community members who helped out during the day by judging events, helping out, serving lunch, etc. We couldn’t have done it without each of you:

Alumni Bake Sale:
Cakes! Pies! Cookies! Items like these were all sold at the basketball game on February 2nd, 2024, to raise money for the FFA Alumni and supporters that help with state convention funds, lunch meetings, scholarships, etc. All were sold variously between a bake sale, private auctions, and live auctions during halftime and quarter breaks. Thank you to everyone who helped out throughout the auctions and bid and bought items! Additionally, we couldn’t have done it without all those who donated items to be sold:
