AI Seemed To Be Confused

If you have been reading my articles in the MT43 News, you know I have been experimenting with AI using both Google Bard and Bing Chatgpt.
Here is an interesting chat I had with Google Bard this morning.
I asked for a list of native Montana Academy Award winners. The response:
"Unfortunately, as of today, February 8, 2024, there haven't been any Native Montanans who have won an Academy Award."
Then I asked if Gary Cooper won an Academy Award. The response:
"Yes, Gary Cooper actually won two Academy Awards for Best Actor."
Then I asked where Gary Cooper was born. The response:
"I apologize for the mistake in my previous response. Gary Cooper was not born in Montana. He was actually born on May 7, 1901, in Helena, Montana".
?????
In further discussion, Bard explained that Gary Cooper was not a native to Montana because he was not "born and RAISED here". His parents were English and sent him to England to go to school. So, he is not a Montana native.
I pointed out that he was sent to England when he was 8 and returned when he was 11. He went to school in Helena before and after his time in England and graduated from high school in Helena.
Bard responded that it was understandable that I felt he was a native Montanan, but he was not because of the CONSIDERABLE amount of time he was in England.
I then pointed out that both the Merriam-Webster Dictionary and the Cambridge Dictionary define native as "where someone is born". Bard then admitted that the dictionary did define native as where someone was born; but that Gary Cooper was still not a native because of his time in England.
And this is the technology that many companies are planning to replace actual human employees!
