2024 STOKE Programs are off and running!

It's been a busy year already for STOKE, with many ongoing fun programs and activities and some exciting new ones to look forward to. Here's a rundown of the latest happenings:

Remember, all STOKE-sponsored programs are FREE, so save the dates!!

● There’s finally snow, so Skiing / Snowboarding at Showdown begins Sunday, Feb 18th! Pre-registration/parent waiver signature is required. Registration takes place outside the Library, on Feb 15, from 3:50 pm to 5:00 pm. Includes your lift ticket, rentals, lesson, lunch and transportation. Space is limited.

● MAPS Media Arts is coming to Townsend March 8-9 for a special two-day event. If you're interested in photography, cinematography, podcasts, radio, film, photojournalism, and other media, this is for you. Pre-registration is required, with more information coming soon.

● Cooking is being offered again, set to begin on Thursday, Feb 15. Come learn from some of the best cooks and chefs in Broadwater County! Call Tina, at 406.360.4408 or Amanda, at 406.459.7379 for more information.

● Lego Tec Robotics, grades 3-5. Have fun with Legos while learning about robotics. Starts in March. Stay tuned for more information.

● Pottery classes are ongoing at the STOKE Pottery Building. Call Teddy, at 406.439.9345, for more information.

● Game night at the Lodge of Townsend is offered on the 1st and 4th Thursday of the month. 5:30-7. Bring the family for ping pong, pool, corn hole, karaoke, board games and free pizza! Children under 10 have to be accompanied by a parent.

Other news: First Lego League Robotics wrapped up a great rookie season, making it all the way to the State Competition, placing 2nd in Robot Design out of 36 Teams! Way to go, Avengineers!

Last but not least, save the date, Wednesday, Feb 14 is the STOKE annual Valentine’s Day fundraiser and dinner at the Lodge. Doors open at 5:30. Come join us for a fun night of games, drinks and great food while showing your support for our kids and STOKE Programs. Tickets are on sale at Reading Leaves, $40 per person.
