Cynthia M. Hale, age 62 of Townsend
November 4, 1961 – January 24, 2024
Cynthia Mae Hale passed away at the age of 62 on January 24, 2024, in Townsend, Montana.
Cynthia was born on November 4, 1961, in Helena, Montana to Donald Hale and Rose Ellen Foster.
Cindy graduated from Capital High School in 1980 and then went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Montana in Missoula.
She pursued a career with Halliburton Procurement and Supply Chain which took her to Antarctica where she started her love of travel. She traveled the world hitting every continent, 5 1/2 years were spent in Iraq, 4 years in Australia, and 2 years in Afghanistan. Of the many places she visited, her favorite was Thailand. As well as traveling, Cindy had an interest in classic cars and enjoyed going to car shows and clubs.
Cindy is survived by her mother; Rose Ellen Foster, stepfather; Steven Dempsey of Townsend, and her brother; Donald Hale of Helena. Cindy is preceded in death by her father; Donald C. Hale Sr. and her grandmother; Stella Mae Foster.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 2nd, 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Deep Creek Cemetery (50 Deep Creek Cemetery Rd), Townsend, MT 59644).
