New Dog Station at McCarthy Park

Townsend residents are noticing the new dog station at McCarthy Park. Generously donated by recently retired City Council member Ken Urich and his wife, the new dog station will help keep McCarthy Park clean and welcoming for everyone. Mayor Rauser and the City Council are considering adding dog stations to the other parks in Townsend but remind residents and visitors that no park has been designated a "dog park," meaning that leash ordinances are still in effect in all parks.
