Columnist Ellie West Moves On to Other Avenues of Inspiration

Our contributing writer Ellie West decided to discontinue her Coaches Corner column. See our December 1 issue. We are sorry. We will miss her wise words and gentle suggestions about how to navigate our turbulent world.
If Ellie doesn’t mind, I’d like to characterize her column with a hokey metaphor. I love gardening. I have been blessed with good soil and lots of water along with seeds and plants from friends and neighbors.
Ellie’s column appeared just as we put MT 43 News in motion in 2022. The paper is a fertile garden of good soil and lots of water. Ellie’s writing has been one of the prolific seeds which has helped our paper grow.

Like most good seeds, we hope Ellie’s column will encourage other meaningful writing for our readers to enjoy, to think about their own lives, and how those lives affect others in our community to bring us together.
