Rotary Supports KDGZ 98.3 FM Radio Station

A Rotary Club of Townsend representative recently attended a Townsend School District #1 meeting about the future of the KDGZ 98.3 FM radio station. At the time of the meeting, the radio station was running $4,600 in the red because of the lack of advertising. The Rotary Club Board voted to approve the expenditure of half that amount, $2,300, to advertise Rotary and our Rotary community youth club, the Interact Club, events on KGGZ.
The Rotary Club of Townsend asks other organizations and businesses to help keep KDGZ on the air. STOKE (Science, Technology, Outdoor Knowledge, and Entrepreneurship) and the Broadwater Community Theater have also recently committed some funds to advertise their events on KDGZ. Please help.
