To Nightlight Or Not To Nightlight - That Is The Question
Dear Two Cents,
My husband keeps the range hood light on all night. He insists it's a great nightlight, but I'm not so sure. We end up arguing about this every morning. What's your take on leaving the range hood on overnight? Is it really okay?

Dear In the Dark,
If this is the primary household argument, count yourself blessed - don’t even get us started on thermostat settings!
There isn’t any evidence we could find to suggest leaving it on is unsafe. You could always compromise and use a small night light in the kitchen.
Ultimately, do you want to win or do you want to be happy? We say pick your battles - not every hill is worth dying on.
