Travis Kendall Salveson (Beavis) of Townsend, MT. passed away on October 9, 2023, from a pulmonary embolism. Travis was born on January 30, 1975, to Ronald and Cheryl Salveson in Devils Lake, ND. They moved to Townsend in 1976 where Travel attended school and graduated. He enjoyed wrestling and lettered in football.
After graduating Travis worked mainly in the service industry. Most recently he was employed at the Mint Café as a cook. There he developed relationships with the owners and co-owners who became a second family for him.
Travis enjoyed hunting and fishing in his pastime. He was on a bowling team and played in a pool league. Travis loved people and made friends everywhere he went. Travis married Stacy in Helena, Mt. They had two children- Zachary and Addison. Travis and Stacy were separated at the time of his death.
Travis is preceded in death by Grandparents Ragnvold and Claice Muri, Donna Salveson, Benjamin and Eileen Salveson and Aunt Tammy Melvic. Travis is survived by his parents Ron and Cheryl Salveson of Townsend; Stacy and their children Zachary and Addison Salveson of Helena; sister Jennifer Salveson (Steve Leskovec) and their children Damien, Steven and Rayn of Helena; brother Adam and his daughter Allyah of Townsend; brother Aaron (Krista) and their children Kaitlyn, Laila and Rennick of Helena along with aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services for Travis were held Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Trailhead Church in Townsend.
