Broadwater County Officer Outlines November 7 Municipal Election

Elections Officer Angie Paulsen reported Wednesday to the County Commissioners the rules for Townsend residents to vote in the upcoming municipal all-mail election on Tuesday, November 7. The City Office will canvas and certify the vote after Nov. 7. Registered voters in the city number 1,246.
*Registered voters who live within the city limits have received a mail-in ballot. If they have not received a ballot, please call Paulsen’s office, not the City office. Her number is (406) 266-9219.
*Unregistered residents who wish to vote should come to the County Clerk & Recorder’s office, 515 Broadway, up to and including election day. The election office will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
*Registered voters should mail their ballot back as soon as they receive it. The ballot may be hand delivered to the Clerk & Recorder’s Office.
*City ward maps are available at the City Office, 110 Broadway Street.
