The criminal docket in Judge Christopher Abbott’s courtroom on Friday, August 25 is as follows:
Vivian Cooper had a Change of Plea; pleading Guilty to an amended charge of criminal endangerment. In her elocution, she stated that while in Broadwater County, she was in a heated argument and brandished a knife; which caused a threat of bodily injury to another. A Pre-Sentence Investigation is ordered. All conditions still apply. Sentencing is to be on January 26, 2024.
Rodney Wilson had a Status Hearing. Extradition to California is on hold; pending Missoula and Broadwater County’s resolutions to drug charges.
Jeremiah Howe had a Scheduling Hearing. His Jury Trial will commence on February 12, 2024.
Ronald Kruesmark had a Change of Plea; pleading Guilty to the amended charge of negligent endangerment. Other charges he is pleading guilty to are theft of a vehicle, attempting to evade police, and attempted assault. In his elocution, Kruesmark stated that while in Broadwater County, he shot a 40-caliber pistol out of a vehicle; ignoring the risk to citizens. He then crashed the stolen vehicle. When police located him, he attempted to flee. He also tried to assault officers at the scene. He will be sentenced on October 27. A Pre-Sentence Investigation is ordered.
