Each year, local 4-H youth come together for competition and comradery at the County Fair.
Youth members spend hours baking the finest foods, grooming and caring for their animals, shining their boots, and a multitude of other preparations to showcase a year’s hard work.
This year was no exception with another great year for Broadwater County 4-H with 111 4-H members and 553 exhibits. Here are a few event highlights:

Members participating in 4-H indoor exhibits received special awards and had the opportunity to participate in a silent auction with their 4-H-made goods.
There were 20 items sold in the silent auction which raised $1,155. The overall 4-H Indoor Exhibitor Senior Grand Champion was Kaitlyn Noyes and Reserve Champion was Codie Skillman. Overall Junior Grand Champion Exhibitor was Kyla Meissner and Reserve was Autumn Henke. The following were category winners for indoor exhibits:

On Saturday, the top livestock showman participated in the Round Robin Showmanship Contest. In the contest, participants show every species to determine a top overall showman. The Senior Grand Champion Round Robin Showman was Cassidy Flynn and Reserve Champion was Spencer Braaten. The Junior Grand Champion Round Robin Showman was Bryleigh Erickson and Reserve Champion was Teigen Volkman.
Last, but certainly not least, this was a great year at the 4-H and FFA Livestock Sale. The sale auction total was $279,572 with 97 animals sold. A big THANK YOU goes to our community for supporting the sale and 4-H youth!
