After 36 years of being a public librarian, Kay Ingalls is retiring from Broadwater School and Community Library on November 1. Kay is an asset to the library and she will be missed. I hope retirement is the best part of her life.
Books and Babies have started! Come join the free program for parents and/or daycare providers and your preschool children at the library from 9:30 a.m.--10:30 a.m. on Fridays.
The annual Halloween Party at the library is on October 29. The party starts at 10:30 a.m. This is a family event so younger siblings can come with their parents as well. Costumes are encouraged.
Come visit your Broadwater School and Community Library at 201 North Spruce. We have over 30,000 books and materials for checkout. The in-person hours are 3:00 p.m.--7:00 p.m. Monday--Friday and Saturdays 9:00 a.m.--3:00 p.m.
