FFA Day Of Service Lisa Larson Townsend Schools Broadwater County recently had about 40 Montana FFA members touring some of our local businesses. Along with the tours, these kids also were involved in some service for the county.
FFA is known for its service. As stated on the state website, “Today, our members live the motto Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live and Living to serve. FFA members rise to the challenge of service embracing members of all walks of life united through FFA.”
The FFA kids, under the direction of Tyler Noyes, were quick to grab a pair of gloves, a rake, a saw, a garbage bag, or a shovel and pitch in to help clean up one of the most heavily used properties in the county…Broadwater Fairgrounds.
The FFA group, Pat Plantenburg, Mary Mistake and Lisa Larson made a huge impact on the clean-up process at our grounds. The Townsend Rodeo Board is very appreciative of the efforts of so many individuals.
FFA is a fantastic organization where students are given the opportunity to learn unique talents and explore their interests in a broad range of agricultural career pathways.
FFA is so much more than cows and plows. We encourage you to explore the many opportunities at FFA.
