Commissioner Debi Randolph called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. Commissioners Darrel
Folkvord and Lindsey Richtmyer were also present.
Public Comment: Tim Ravndal Broadwater County News commented. Broadwater County Clerk
and Recorder Angie Paulsen commented.
10:06 AM Public Health Director Ruby Taylor presented Master Contract Between the
State of Montana, Department of Public Health and Human Services and Broadwater
County. Commissioner Richtmyer moved to approve Task Order 24-07-4-31-103-0 in
the amount of $6,078.00. Commissioner Folkvord seconded and carried.
10:10 AM Broadwater County Community Development and Planning Director
presented Vistas at Headwaters Subsequent Minor Subdivision preliminary plat
approval. Commissioner Richtmyer commented. Bill Dryer with Alpine Surveying and
Engineering commented. Broadwater County Deputy County Attorney Jania Hatfield
commented. Developer of the Vistas at Headwaters Subsequent Minor Subdivision
project, Rick Remitz, commented.
11:03 AM Broadwater County Fair Manager Jessica Erickson presented Fair Board
Bylaws. County Attorney Jania Hatfield explained the changes to the Bylaws. Bylaws
will be finalized at a future meeting.
Commissioner Richtmyer moved to approve May 3, 2023, Minutes. Commissioner
Folkvord seconded and carried.
Commissioner Folkvord moved to approve payroll claims in the amount of $36,575.16.
Commissioner Richtmyer seconded and carried.
Commissioner Richtmyer moved to approve claims in the amount of $32,960.64.
Commissioner Folkvord seconded and carried.
Commissioner Folkvord moved to approve claims in the amount of $1,699.87.
Commissioner Richtmyer seconded and carried.

Broadwater County will host a public meeting with MDT at 2:00 PM May 23, 2023, at
the Flynn Building and it will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend.
Communications Received: Master Contract Between the State of Montana, Department
of Public Health and Human Services and Broadwater County. Commissioner
Richtmyer moved to approve Task Order 24-07-4-31-103-0, Vistas at Headwaters
Subsequent Minor Subdivision preliminary plat, Vistas at Headwaters Subsequent
Minor Subdivision Findings of Fact and Order Report, Letter to Commissioners from
Many Rivers Whole Health to Commissioners, Notice from DEQ re Montana Water
Quality Act for comments regarding potential revisions to water quality standards Public
Hearing June 28, 2023, Notice from DEQ re Stillwater Mining Company Notice of
wastewater discharge permit and Letter to Commissioners re Federal Regulatory Energy
Commission Hydroelectric Project.
Present at the meeting were Nancy Marks with MT43News, Bill Dryer with Alpine
Surveying and Engineering, and developer of Vistas at Headwaters Subsequent Minor
Subdivision project, Rick Remitz.
Meeting adjourned at 11:40 AM. Next regular commission meeting will be held May 24, 2023,
at 10:00 AM
