SVLC New Member Sunday Claire Nugent New Member Sunday at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church (SVLC) of Townsend was a joyous occasion on April 16th.
Three new families joined our church and a group picture of the congregation was taken by Townsend photographer, Kelly Morris.
SVLC proudly welcomes Bill Mauler, Dave and Lisa Rowell, and the Dane and Amanda Stiles family.
An added part of our celebration was honoring Bonnie Berglind on the occasion of her 90th birthday!
Pastor Ken Duvall, retired pastor of the ELCA and long-time friend of the Townsend congregation, led the service and bestowed membership upon the new participants.
It was a great Sunday of blessings!
