The Historic Canton Church will continue our Summer Schedule of Events on August 11 at 5:00 pm with the Christensen Family Band.
As always events are free – although we do accept donations!
The band consists of Chris Christensen and his four sons Micah, Aaron, Mathew and Andrew. Chris taught music and art in the Townsend schools for 42 years. He and his sons enjoy playing guitars and singing together. They sing a variety of songs but their favorite is country. Living near the Canton Church inspired some of the songs they have written.
They encourage lots of laughter and hand clapping when they perform.
Bring a smile and join the fun!!
The Historic Canton Church was built in 1875-1876 and is one of the few surviving buildings from the town of Canton which was flooded during the creation of Canyon Ferry Lake. All our events begin at 5:00 pm but the Canton Church will be open to visitors from 3:00-5:00 pm before events.
