Q:I was sad to hear about the abuse allegations that Halle Berry's son made about her, and I hope they aren't true. I remember his father used to be a big star, too, but has he acted in anything recently? -- T.R.
A:The 60-year-old French actor Olivier Martinez is probably best known to American audiences for his steamy role opposite Diane Lane in the movie "Unfaithful" back in 2002. He was briefly married to Halle Berry, whom he met on the set of their film "Dark Tide" in 2010, and he made the tabloids for his bloody altercation with Berry's ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubrey, on Thanksgiving Day 2012.
Berry's life has appeared peaceful since their split, but recently, Martinez publicly accused his ex-wife of harming their 13-year-old son. Berry and her daughter, Nahla, have fiercely denied the allegations. As for Martinez's acting resume, he's worked steadily in supporting and recurring roles in shows like "Revenge," "Texas Rising" and "Loot."

Q:I'm finally all caught up with "The Gilded Age" after my friends kept telling me about it. When's the new season starting? -- K.M.
A:The historical-drama series "The Gilded Age" will be returning to HBO's coveted Sunday night lineup, beginning on Nov. 1 at 9 p.m. ET. It'll also stream on HBO Max. Most of the massive cast will be back for its fourth season, including Carrie Coon, George Russell, Christine Baranski, and Cynthia Nixon. As you remember, George and Bertha's marriage was in trouble at the end of season three, while Agnes was hoping to reclaim her status in high society.
Comedian Jim Gaffigan will play President Grover Cleveland. While he's best known for his hilarious stand-up specials, Gaffigan is also a fabulous actor who's excelled in both comedic and dramatic roles, so we look forward to seeing him as the late 19th-century POTUS.
Who won't be back? According to Deadline, Patrick Page and Sullivan Jones won't be returning as secretary Richard Clay and publisher T. Thomas Fortune, respectively. Deadline says that the possibility of one or both characters returning in a future season is always there, though.

Q: Is Kandi Burruss returning next season to "The Real Housewives of Atlanta"? -- U.S.
A:Grammy-winning songwriter Kandi Burruss ("No Scrubs") left Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" after 14 seasons to pursue other creative endeavors. Since departing, she briefly starred in the musical "& Juliet" and has co-produced several stage productions, including a revival of "The Wiz," "Chicago," and "The Piano Lesson." She also recently made a guest appearance on the CBS daytime soap "The Gates."
While she adores Bravo fans, Burruss stated on her podcast "Speak On It" that she's turned down offers to return to "Housewives." She stated, "I think being on the show would be blocking me from going after the other, bigger things that I want to do." You can, however, watch her daughter, Riley, on Bravo's hit series "Next Gen NYC."
